Download our derivative ski catalogue free of charge, without an account, under the Open Database License 1.0 (ODbL). The ZIP contains the machine-readable catalogue, source records, corrections, identity and relationship decisions, the full licence and file checksums.

This version contains 2,800 stored records, including aliases, and 2,783 discoverable resorts and ski areas. It matches the hosted public catalogue checked on October 7, 2026. The underlying OpenSkiData snapshot was accepted on September 16, 2026. Subsequent catalogue changes require a corresponding updated offer.
SnowSignal filters for downhill skiing and skiable lifts, calculates terrain distances and elevation bands, and applies sourced corrections and curated resort relationships. Mapped terrain can differ from official totals. Missing independent member data remains missing. This is not a live operating report or safety advice.

Supplemental identities use Wikidata CC0 facts and sourced official corrections. The source registries identify provenance and dates. Individual source contents retain their applicable rights; the catalogue licence does not license photographs, map images, trademarks or unrelated provider content. No provider endorses SnowSignal.
Historical statistics
Contains modified Copernicus Climate Change Service information: ERA5 hourly time-series data on single levels, DOI 10.24381/1cf1ad76, dataset and citation, provided under its CC-BY licence. SnowSignal derives monthly snow, rain and clear-dry-day frequencies for 1991–2020 near resort centres on the 0.25-degree atmospheric grid. These are modelled averages, not observed resort snowfall, recent weather or guaranteed future conditions. Neither the European Commission nor ECMWF is responsible for SnowSignal's use of this information. Climate data is separate from the catalogue ZIP.
Weather and optional sources
Open-Meteo forecast data uses CC BY 4.0. Commercial weather access remains pending; free API evaluation is for personal development.
Live resort feeds and Windy webcams are not cleared for public release. Consumer Release automatically selects Wikimedia Commons images with explicit CC0 image rights, supplied creator and matching resort-name metadata. Source credits are retained; unsupported or missing candidates use original artwork. These checks do not guarantee uploader ownership, exact scene or worldwide photo coverage. OpenSkiMap and paper-map archives are opened on their original websites; their tiles and copyrighted map images are not included in this offer.
Optional trip geography
Prepared nearby-place geography is derived from GeoNames under CC BY 4.0; airport facts use OurAirports public-domain data. Straight-line proximity does not establish winter access, flight service or lodging availability. Referral links remain disabled pending mobile and product approval. These datasets are not in the catalogue ZIP.
